As most of you already know, I was invited to attend the SearsStyle Blogger Brunch in NYC last week. I was challenged to go on a mini shopping spree at Sears to find an outfit to wear to the brunch.
So this is what I wore to the #searsStyle Blogger Brunch!
Blouse – Metaphor
Jeans – Canyon River Blues Curvy Skinny Jeans
I knew I was going to wear jeans. I’m a big fan of skinny jeans. They are very fashionable and can be worn with just about anything. So my dilemma was to pick out a top that I thought would go well with the Jeans. It was supposed to be a really hot and humid day on the day of the brunch, so I opted to wear the Metaphor blouse because although you can’t really tell from the photos, the blouse is very sheer and lightweight. The print actually hides he sheerness of it. I paired it up with a pair of sling back wedges and I was on my way!
The brunch was held at Bagatelle in NYC. Bagatelle is reminiscent of a French bistro. The food was absolutely delicious.
At the brunch I got to meet up with some old blogger friends and also met some new friends. We also had the opportunity to preview some items from Sears Styles fall collection.
I really love this lacy trench coat for the Kardashian Kollection. It’s really pretty and very feminine.
Here are a few more looks from the Kardashian Kollection and from Covington.
I also really like this dress which is also from the Kardashian Kollection.
They also had a massive collection of Jeans in an area they dubbed the “Jeans bar.”
They had so many different styles and colors available and the best part was, we all go to choose a pair of whichever style and color jeans we wanted to take home. I had a hard time deciding. At first I chose a pair of BONGO jeans which felt so soft and cozy. but they only came in Junior’s sizes and since I don’t usually shop in the Junior’s department, I wasn’t quite sure which size I would need. In case you didn’t already now, Lucy Hale is the face of BONGO Jeans.
Then I decided to pick up a pair of colored Jeans. I picked up a deep burgundy pair thinking they were the perfect color for fall. I was a little nervous though because I had never worn colored jeans before and was not sure I would feel comfortable wearing them.
Instead, I decided to play it safe and opted for a pair of black Canyon River Blues jeans in the same style as the one I wore to the event because they were very, very comfy.
A big thank you goes out to searsStyle for hosting such an awesome event.
So, what do you think about the Sears Style Fashions I revealed above?
