Phil and I just started thinking about travel plans for this summer. We are not sure where we want to go yet, but we do know that we want to travel internationally. As we were brainstorming and researching summer travel destinations, I vaguely remembered that children’s passports don’t last as long as adult passports. So, I went to go check Z.E.N.’s passport and sure enough, his passport will be expiring in April.
Luckily, I caught this in time!
The very next day, we had new passport photos taken so that we could apply for a new passport for him.
Turns out, you can’t renew a child’s passport if they are under 16 years of age, so we had to fill out a whole new application. We submitted the application today, so his new passport should arrive in about 4-6 weeks.
