I hate the fact that my eyebrows always seem to be on the messy side. In my opinion, there’s nothing better than having well groomed eyebrows because they can work wonders for your face. As much as I try to keep up with grooming my eyebrows, something always comes up which prevents me from going to get them done. So when I heard that Duane Reade was offering a free eyebrow intervention this week, I jumped at the chance to have this done.
The eyebrow interventions were held at select Ramy Beauty Therapy Eyebrow bars, situated in Duane Reade stores. For those of you who don’t know, Ramy Gafni is a celebrity makeup artist and eyebrow guru. All of the brow experts at the Ramy Beauty Therapy Eyebrow bars are trained in Ramy’s technique of tweezing and trimming.
When I arrived at the brow bar, Juliana brought me to her station and immediately got to work. She advised that she would be plucking and asked if that would be ok. I had never had my eyebrows professional plucked before. Juliana advised that it may sting a bit, but that it would be over quicker that I realized. I have had my brows waxed and threaded in the past, but never plucked! Juliana explained that plucking your eyebrows with a good set of tweezers allows for much more precision when it comes to tweezing, and allows you to achieve perfect eyebrows.
I like the fact that Juliana took her time to really analyze my brows before she actually started plucking. She wanted to do a great job, and I must say that she did.
Nothing pulls a flawless face together more than a pair of well-groomed and precision-shaped brows!
My sister who tagged along, also got her brows done.
We were also treated to a quick mini-makeover with products from the RAMY collection, and Juliana also gave us a free gift from the Ramy collection!
So ladies (and gents) if you’re looking to have your eyebrows professionally shaped, I highly recommend Juliana and the other brow experts at the Ramy Beauty Therapy Eyebrow bars.
