As you may already know, I’m working on really trying to organize my life this year. Thus far, I have primarily been focusing on getting myself organized at home, but I also need to get my online world organized as well.
I visit a LOT of websites online. Keeping track of all the sites has become a nightmare. I tend to bookmark many of the sites I like through my browser, but that has not been working well for me because (1) if I am not at home and using another computer, I can not access my bookmarks, and (2) organizing the bookmarks is not very easy.
Well luckily, I recently discovered Clipix. clipix is a new online organizer. Similar to other such sites, It offers a great way for you to easily save those websites, pictures and articles you want to remember by “clipping” them to a clipboard. Not only can you easily save the clips, you can also easily organize them whichever way you want.
While browsing around Clipix, I got so many ideas on how to use the service. I saw clipboards featuring jewelry, art, photography, fashion and blog tips. Doing research on a certain topic? Just clip all the articles and post you find on that topic to your clipboard. Using Clipix in this manner will turn research into a much easier task.
You can create a clipboard for just about anything. I actually created my first clipboard today. I created one called: “Books I Want to Read”. You can see what it looks like below:
I love how visually pleasant it looks. I have so many ideas as to how I want to use Clipix. How will you use Clipix?
Ohhh, I never thought of using something like this for research. Brilliant!
