There are tons of amusement parks out there, but I have yet to find one that I enjoy more than Dutch Wonderland, which is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Dutch Wonderland is a famous amusement park in the East Coast that welcomes families from all across the country as well as all over the globe. In fact, it is perennially voted into the list of the best children’s parks in the world by no less than Amusement Today magazine.
What I like about Dutch Wonderland is that it is both a water park and an amusement park that specifically caters to young children. The park is clean, well maintained and never overly crowded.
They cater to both regular family visits and special occasions such as birthday parties. Dutch Wonderland can take care of all the little details like food and party needs so that guests can focus on having fun. Kids will definitely love the rides including Duke’s Lagoon, Dragon’s Lair, Frog Hopper, Choo-Choo Charlie and many, many more.
This year, they have a couple of new attractions including a buffet breakfast with the wizard Merlin and his companions. Kids will have the chance to meet wonderful characters like the dashing Dutch Wonderland Knight and the lovely Princess Brooke while feasting on sumptuous fruits, sausages, bagels, pancakes, eggs, and cereals.
