On Friday April 13th, my fellow Duane Reade VIP bloggers and I met up at Duane Reade’s flagship store at 40 Wall Street in NYC for a fun filled evening of beauty. This store is unlike any other of the Duane Reade locations you may have visited in the past. It houses a full service hair salon, and a nail bar. All of the VIP bloggers had the opportunity to get their hair done, get a mini-makeover, and manicure. We were also treated to a delicious spread of sushi from their sushi bar.
First up, I got a mini-makeover. I’m pretty much a no fuss girl when it comes to make-up. Typically, I put on a little lipstick and I’m done, so needless to say, I was a little nervous at the thought of getting all made up. Lawrencia, put me ease and gave me some tips on how to enhance my own natural beauty. She then went on to apply some make-up and even applied some fake lashes. I must say that she did an amazing job!
After getting all made up, I went over to the nail bar for a quick manicure. At this point, Z.E.N., who tagged along with me, took control of my camera and started snapping some pictures. The following pictures were all taken by him.
Even Collective Bias Project Manager Matt Garcia got in on the action and got his brows done!
